He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kulas and Emelia Teprag Kulas; and his siblings, Walter, Leonard Kulas, Stephanie Caporali and Leokadia "Lottie" Kochmanski.
He is survived by: his wife Cherie Pitsch Kulas; his children, Laurie Scott (Robin) of West Leechburg and Jeffrey Kulas (Jody) of Lower Burrell; his grandchildren, Ashley Putignano (Brian) of Allegheny Township, Kirsten Scott (Jaden Phillips) of Leechburg, Jessica Martini (Thomas) of Clairton, Evan Hosler of Lower Burrell and Samantha Kulas of Bridgeville; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Martini, Giuseppe and Salvatore Thaddeus Putignano. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
