He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hughan and Eula Mae Hughan (McCutcheon); his granddaughter Brooke Mackenzie Moyle; and his brother William M. Hughan. He is survived by: his wife Susan M. Hughan (Owsiany); his children, Jeanne M. McHugho (Sean) of Allegheny Township, Randall L. Hughan Jr. of Allegheny Township and Susan A. Moyle (Michael) of Allegheny Township; his grandchildren, Dylon, Lyndsey, Ashley, Shane, Rylie and Liam; and his brothers, Paul Hughan (Doris) of Allegheny Township and Jeffrey Hughan (Susan) of Apollo. He is also survived by his father, and father-in-law as well as his brothers.
