She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Earl Crissman and Frances Crissman (Hilty); and her husband Eugene Zaffuto. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Eckman of Murfreesboro and Robin Milanak (Timothy) of Allegheny Township; her stepchildren, Mina Petersheim (Pete), Kimberly Furman (Todd), Eugene Zaffuto and Tabitha Zaffuto-Favre (Marc); her siblings, Marcella "Marcy" Smail of Vandergrift and Leonard "Lenny" Crissman of Kittanning; and her pet Casey George. She is also survived by five grandchildren; fourteen step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in Karen's memory.
