He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard L. Shearer and Anna E. Shearer (Tench); his wife Mary C. Shearer (Rudari); and his brother Jack Shearer. He is survived by: his children, Keith Shearer (Bonnie) of Lewisville, TX and Karen Golembiesky (Charles) of Allegheny Township; and his siblings, Howard "Barney" Shearer (Mary) of Allegheny Township and Barbara Malcolm of Natrona Heights. He is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
