He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Smarick Kuruc; his sons, David Kuruc (Linda) of Leechburg, Randy Kuruc (Deanne) of Lower Burrell and Patrick "P. J."; his grandchildren, Melissa Nelson, Leyla Zickau (Tom), Justin Kuruc (Raelyn), Jason Kuruc (Jena), Jillian Kuruc and Aaron Kuruc; his great grandchildren, Frankie Zickau, Anastasia Zickau, Julius Kuruc, Landon Kuruc and Scarlett Kuruc; and his siblings, Elizabeth Fabry, Susan Couslin and Robert "Joe" Kuruc of Parks Township.
