He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Jane Belgie (Merriman); his son Lary W. Belgie; and his siblings, Dorothy Della, Helen Faye Dunmire and Alfred Belgie.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Belgie and Jimmy Belgie; his grandchild Zach Belgie (Maggie); and his great grandchild Katie Jane Belgie.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in his name to The Childhood Leukemia Foundation.
