She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John W "Bill" Perfater III; her parents, Charles Atha and Merle Atha (Fuller); her daughters, Cathy Kinsella (Christopher) and Betsy Downing; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Kevin, Megan, Sarah and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Henry, Charles, Francis, Brigid, Rose, John, James, Billy and Mackenzie; her nephew Scott Perfater; and her niece Susan Emmons.
