He was predeceased by: his father James A. Stapleton; and his wife Linda Forster-Stapleton. He is survived by: his mother Marylou Boswell (Carlos); his son Kevin Forster (Rebecca); his granddaughter Molly Forster; and his siblings, James A. "Bud" Stapleton, Jr. and Laura Stapleton-Narry (Brian).
