It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Samuel Sallisjr. of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wives, Alice Sallis and Nikki Sallis; his parents, Vera Sallis and Apostle Sam Sallis Sr.; and his siblings, Linda Byrd (Donald), Kathryn Sallis (Levoid), Rick Sallis (Zelphia) and Mattie Evans (Marvin).
He is survived by: his children, Tina Oravitz-Tookes (Walter Jr.), Bobby Oravitz, Lynette Wilder (Derrick Sr.), Sam Sallis III (Heather) and Nicholas Sallis; his siblings, Willie Sallis (Cassandra), Rose Sallis, Fred Sallis (Inetta), Levoid Sallis and Rhonda Grant; and his close friends, Doreen Dickey and Steve Thellman. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holiness Church of Christ (6349 Tuscarawas Rd, Industry, PA 15052). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
