It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Murdis Stovall of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Murdis Stovall to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Black and John Anthony; and her siblings, John Ester, Pearline, Roosevelt, Maenella, Marene, Odis and Edward Anthony.

She is survived by: her husband Archester Stovall; her children, Lester Stovall (Lynda Stovall), Brenda Stovall (Edward Ball) and Morgan Stovall; her grandchildren, Anthony Stewart (Angela Stewart), Rashaad Toombs, Kevin Motley (April Motley), Jason Motley, Briana Arrington and Bianca Garcia; and her great grandchildren, Morgan Stewart, Ethan Motley, Myles Stewart, Ella Motely, Jaxon Cole Garcia, Zakir Toombs, Ellianna Motley and Zayden Amari Ruffin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Because of the pandemic of 2020, Murdis spent the last five years of her life residing with her daughter in Silver Spring, Maryland, and Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
