He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Piotrowski and Stella Piotrowski; and his brothers, Lucian, John and Stephen Piotrowski.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Piotrowski (Litvak); his children, Janice (Samuel C. Scriva) and James (Melissa Piotrowski); his grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer and Joseph Scriva; his brothers, Thaddeus Piotrowski and Frank Piotrowski; and his goddaughter Marilu Piotrowski.
