With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John James Evasovich of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John James left this world on March 31, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though John James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his daughters, Maria Evasovich (Mia) and Kirsten Evasovich Shields (James); his grandchildren, Loren Mayernik, Chad Pollock and Madison Swenson; his significant other Denice Evasovich; and his daughter Jonha Evasovich Pollock. He is also survived by great grandchildren and countless close friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Aliquippa Junior/Senior High School-Karmazyn Black (100 Harding Ave, Aliquippa, PA 15001). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a John Evasovich Scholarship Fund has been established, and memorial contributions may be sent to, Phillip Woods, c/o John Evasovich Scholarship Fund, 100 Harding Ave, Aliquippa Pa 15001.
