It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Black Sr. (Aliquippa, Pennsylvania), born in Niles, Ohio, who passed away on November 14, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Black and Caroline Black; and his sisters, Suzanne Owsley and Karen Martincic. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Lyons (Geri); his children, James Black, Jr. of Claremore, OK and Ellen Gros of Beaver Falls, PA; his grandson Scott E. Gros, Jr. of State College, PA.; his brother Thomas Black (Lois); and his brothers-in-law, Dave Owsley and John Martincic. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
