He is survived by: his children, Ernest Jr. (Nakita Greer) of Aliquippa, Anthony Greer of Aliquippa and Lisa; his son-in-law Rapheal Abercrombie; his grandchildren, Taylor "Aliyah", Alexys "Alexys Ann" Abercrombie, Ndia, Ernest III and Jalen Tigner; and his nephews, Derrick Reynolds, Terry and Doster. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
