He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bernola and Angelina Bernola (Tomei). He is survived by: his wife Betty Bernola (Mancini); his son Dean; his daughter-in-law Susan Bernola; his grandchildren, Brandi (Anthony Budris), Brandon (Britney Bernola) and Brett (Whitney Bernola); his great grandchildren, Afton, Amzey, Luca, Luella and Rayna; his friend Dino Leone; and his siblings, Mary Perilli (Frank), Clara Pietrandrea (Nino) and Robert (Denica).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cornell's name to St. Titus Church, where he was a lifelong member.
