It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ruth (Smith) Finnegan of Aleppo, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlene Ice Smith and Hennen Smith; her husband Gerald "Sonny" Robert Finnegan; and her brothers, Harvey, Leo, Tex and Rex Smith.

She is survived by: her son Robbie Lee Finnegan (Tammi) of Wind Ridge; her grandchildren, Hillary Cumpston (Josh) of Rutan, PA, Heather Day (Todd) of Morgantown, WV, Katelynn Finnegan (Richard) of Brownsville and Addison Finnegan of Waynesburg; her great grandchildren, Conner and Brielle Day; and her close friend Dexter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aleppo Brethren Church, 1049 Greene Valley Rd. Aleppo, PA 15310.
