He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Torrence and Helen Torrence (Shultz); his wife Sandra Torrence (Whitehouse); and his brother Donald Torrence. He is survived by: his son Dale R. Torrence Jr.; and his grandson Derick Torrence.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dale's name to Lehigh Valley Hospice 2024 Lehigh St Suite 100, Allentown, PA 18103.
