He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hughes and Elizabeth Hughes (Schafer). He is survived by: his close friend Stephanie Bajnoczy; his children, Madelyn Hughes and George Hughes; his siblings, Patrick Hughes (Robin), Kathleen Conlon (Daniel) and Maureen Powell (Anthony); and his pets, Schnoodles and Stanley. He is also survived by several nieces, a nephew, a maternal aunt and several cousins.
