He was predeceased by: his wife Doris M. Swift (Dieckman); his parents, John Thomas Swift Sr. and Rita Swift (Munneley); his son John Thomas Swift III; and his brothers, Thomas, Kenneth and Donald Swift.
He is survived by: his son Brian Swift (Amy) of Albrightsville; his granddaughters, Brittani Arnold (Blake), Shannon Swift and Mackenzie Swift; and his sister-in-law Joan Swift of Dallas, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
