It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna L. Burkholder (Akron, Pennsylvania), born in Columbia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 22, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Frank Sweigart; and her siblings, Clyde Sweigart, Fern Martin, Frank Sweigart and Ken Sweigart.
She is survived by: her parent Alverta Sweigart (Ludwig); her spouse Arthur Burkholder; her children, Nancy Kulp (Steve) of Denver and Douglas Burkholder (Barb) of Bridgton, NJ; her granddaughters, Katrina Imhoff, Christina Kulp and Samantha Burkholder; her great grandchild Aidan; and her sister Vera Petticoffer (Carl).
