With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Benham (Akron, Pennsylvania), born in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 12, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Earl B. Ostrander, Jr. (Debi Schneider); her siblings, Lucy B. Horst, Mark Brubacher and Fianna B. Auker; her grandchildren, Earl, Benjamin, Alexandra and Mark Jr.; her great grandchild Haidyn; her nieces, Patricia Drumheller, Diane Hartranft and Christine Heiler; and her son Mark J. Ostrander.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be distributed to the children's ministry and the church quilting program, with checks made payable to the Akron Church of the Brethren.
