He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Eckman and Florence Eckman (Shirk). He is survived by: his wife Shirley L. Eckman; his daughters, Debra A. Hurst and Karen M. Smith (John); and his sister Helen Townsley. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
