He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Earl Hess and Rita Eshbach (Gessner); and his stepfather Henry Eshbach. He is survived by: his close friend Joetta Henry; his daughters, Jolene (Rick Harrison) and Tina (Clair Groff); his grandchildren, Ryan, Kevin and Laura Harrison; and his siblings, Harry K. Eshbach of Lancaster, Helen A. (Rick Shaub) of Lancaster, Mary K. Eshbach of Lititz and Yvonne M (Kevin Kranv) of California.
