He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Rice and Betty Rice (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca (Carr); and his children, Daniel (Melissa Rice) of Lancaster, Steven (Christy Rice) of Ridgway, Jeannie (Jonathan Gehman) of Akron, Timothy (Joy Rice) of Denver, Kenneth (Emily Rice) of Akron, Carolyn (Matthew Noia) of Brooklyn, NY and Katie Jo (Tyler Collins) of Emmaus. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; one brother and five sisters.
