We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2021, at the age of 79, Emerson Martin of Akron, Pennsylvania, born in Ephrata, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel M. Martin and Frances Martin (Hoover); and his brothers, Addison H. and Sam Landis Martin. He is survived by: his wife Mary W. (Martin); his children, Steve (Barb), Deb (Rick Lyon) of Shiloh, OH, Marlin (Heather), Pauline (Raul Shul) of El Salvador and Andy (Deanna); and his siblings, Daniel H. (Grace Martin), Leroy H. (Laura Martin), Verna (Dan Hoover), Alice (Wilford Beachy), Grace (James High), Jay (Rhoda Martin), Edith (Elam Weaver), Anna Frances (David Eugene Knauer) and Naomi (Ernest Zimmerman). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
