Edgar D. Stoesz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar D. Stoesz (Akron, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dietrich Stoesz and Anna Stoesz; his brothers, Eldor, Harvey and Dietrich Jr.; and his sister-in-law Gladys.
He is survived by: his children, Susan, Dean, Marcia, Randall, Ellen and Kristine; his grandchildren, Matthew, Charity Bauman, Ben Bauman, Victoria Hohman, Elizabeth Stoesz, Rebecca, Jon Nagy, Laura Stoesz, David, Maria Stoesz and Connor Stoesz; his sister Helen Peifer; and his wife Gladys. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Akron Mennonite Church (1311 Diamond St, Akron, PA 17501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
