Rankin in Akron, Pennsylvania, born in Clintonville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 19, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Delbert L. Rankin; his wife Nancy M. LaVan; his children, Delbert E. Rankin and Brenda J. Cook (Gary) of Green, OH; his grandchildren, Garrett Cook and Emily Cook; and his sister-in-law Joyce J. Widynski (Steve) of Lynchburg, VA. He was also cherished by nineteen nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his name to either, VFW Post #519, 220 Blair St., or AHN-Grove City, Oncology Unit, 631 N. Broad St Ext., both Grove City, PA 16127.
