It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Barbara R. Shaw of Akron, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 84, on April 12, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rupp and Anna Rupp. She is survived by: her children, Colleen Walters (Kevin), Marci Stevens (Stewart) of New York, Amy Hurley (Eric), Daniel Shaw (Esther) and Heidi Rutter (Raymond) of Pennsylvania; her sister Joyce Van Orden (Ronnie) of Bennington, Vermont; and her nieces and nephews, Merrie, Tim and Jill (Brett). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Church (45 S 9th St, Akron, PA 17501).
