He was predeceased by: his wife Judith C. Charney; his parents, John Charney and Bertha Charney (Telatovich); and his sisters, Dorothy Andrejco and Joan Kulka.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Phillips (Mike) of Quarryville and Deb Ruggieri (Joe) of Cumming, GA; and his grandchildren, Victoria, Michelle Phillips, Cameron Ruggieri, Chloe Hess, Casey Ruggieri and Danielle Dunbar.
