It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Chester Waters (Airville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maude Waters (Thomas) and Thomas Benjamin Waters (FL); his daughter Lisa A. Jones; his siblings, Thomas Lee Waters and Lois Davis; his niece Shelby Griffey; and his parents-in-law, James and Helen Sweitzer.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Waters (Sweitzer); his nephew Greg; his granddaughter Alexis Jones of Tamaqua, PA; his sister Myrtle Morris; his sister-in-law Mary Waters Bostic (Robert); and his nieces and nephews, Karen Seiple (Scott) of Airville, PA, Tamara Moore, MD, Gregory Waters (Mindy), Emily Skorupinski (Brad) and Robin Lynn, MD. He is also survived by many cousins and great nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for scholarship fund to benefit Alexis Jones.
