It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Faye King of Adah, Pennsylvania, born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 17, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William L. Frankhouser and Mary Frankhouser (Hill); her husband William Alfred King Sr.; and her brothers, Richard Frankhouser and Ralph "Sonny" Frankhouser.
She is survived by: her sons, James Gibson (Teresa) of Uniontown and Jeffrey Gibson (Kelly) of Mooresville, NC.; her grandchildren, Justin Gibson (Angela) of Adah, PA, Travis Gibson of Sanford, FL, Argia Boardwine (Christopher) of Cleveland, NC and Jared Gibson (Shannon) of Dickerson Run, PA; her brothers, Gilbert W Frankhouser (Colleen) and Walter Frankhouser (Cindy) of Adah, PA; her sister-in-law Linda L. Frankhouser of Florida; and her great grandchildren, Ava, Avery of Kade, T. J., Adalyn, Lydia, Mataia, Brezlan, Gianna, Rahe, Rowan and Zander. She is also survived by her husband Bill's children, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dearth Funeral Home (35 S Mill St, New Salem, PA 15468). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Sandra's name may be made to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, Uniontown PA or to the building fund at the First Christian Church New Salem, New Salem PA.
