He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Schifko and Julia Schifko (Blizman). He is survived by: his wife Linda K. Sager; his children, Lawrence Schifko, Jr. (Michelle) of Pittsburgh and Lori Schifko Krause of Murrells Inlet; his sister Deanna Strickland of Leland; his sister-in-law Earlene V. Schifko of Waynesburg; his brother Elmer William "Bud" Schifko; and his brother-in-law I. B. Strickland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
