He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Tunstall and Kathryn Tunstall (Morgan); and his siblings, Floyd, Samuel, Martha Penrod, Esther Boden and Mary Tunstall.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Tunstall (Ross); his children, Jamie Emerick (Timothy) of Friedens, Jennifer Tunstall (Nathan Martin) of Friedens, Melissa Maust (Gerald) of Jennerstown and James E. Tunstall III of Acosta; his grandchildren, Jason Tunstall (Autumn), David Saylor, Reece Tunstall, Carson Tunstall, Ace Tunstall, Sebastian Martin, Erica Oravec (Matthew), Kelsey Emerick, Autumn Martin and Zoey Tunstall; his great grandchildren, April, Athena and Summer; and his siblings, Elva Jean Miller and Paul Tunstall.
