With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Shafer of Acme, Pennsylvania, born in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2024 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan H. Shafer and Thelma K. Chackan Shafer. She is survived by: her siblings, Allan Shafer of Murrysville and Vera Brown (Tom) of Acme; and her nieces and nephews, Amy Spence (Rob) of Cranberry, Bruce Shafer (Dawn) of Scottdale, Scott Brown (Cindy) of Acme, Rick Brown (Stephanie) of Acme, Keith Brown (Jennifer) of Acme and Charlie Brown (Renee) of Acme.
