She was predeceased by: her husband Philip Henry Hofmann; and her parents, J. Arthur Fanning and Rita Finn Fanning. She is survived by: her children, Philip H. Hofmann (Anne Langler), Virginia D. Hofmann and Richard C. Hofmann (Kim); her grandsons, Harry Hofmann (Melly) and Peter Hofmann; and her sister Joan Flynn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
