She was predeceased by: her husband Percy A. Wells; her parents, Clarence E. McElwee and Sarah Knight McElwee; and her stepdaughters, Patricia Lunneborg and Roberta Ryan.

She is survived by:, Helen, Robert Turnbull, Betsy and Charles Miller. She is also survived by three great-nieces and a great-nephew.
