He is survived by: his children, Brigitte Strain, Frank (Carol Kaser), Denise Kaser and Corina (Frank Hubmaster); his grandchildren, John Earle Strain, IV, Kimberly Daniels, Christopher Kaser, Kevin Lederer, Kara Berndlmaier, Caitlin Hubmaster and Cassidy Hubmaster; his great grandchildren, Tyler Strain, Jasmine Daniels, Maisie Daniels and Cole Berndlmaier; his siblings, Anna Seidler and Ernst; and his sister-in-law Gerda Kaser.
