It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John F. Washington (Abington, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 2, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick and Marjorie (McNeill) of Washington. He is survived by: his wife Mary-Louise "Mary" (Towner) of Washington; his children, Sharon L., John F., Jr., Philip A. (Bonita) and David S.; and his grandchildren, Lindsay, Philip A., Jr., Paul and Sara.
Interment at Forest Hills Cemetery will be held privately on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 and a memorial service is planned in the future at Trinity Church Oxford, Philadelphia. Due to the current restrictions concerning the COVID-19 Pandemic, we ask that everyone in attendance wear face masks and that only ten people at a time enter the building to pay their respects to the family.
