She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Walter and Albert Sellers Walter; her brother Albert S. Walter, Jr.; and her nephew Richard Shubrick. She is survived by: her husband Julius Gauer Piston; her children, Nancy L. Piston and Robert W. Piston, MD of Kathy, D. O.; her grandchildren, Robert Jr., Michael, Rebecca, Steven and Hannah Piston; and her nephew Robert Shubrick (Angela).
