He was predeceased by: his wife Blanche Krapf Brooks; and his parents, Frank Burhanna Brooks and Elsie Townsend. He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Brooks Niguidula; his son-in-law Nick Niguidula; his daughter Beth Brooks; and his grandchildren, David, Diane, Susan, Danny, Nancy, Kathy, Andrew, Nicole, Steve, John and Lia. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

On lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Abington Township Fire Department, 1176 Old York Road, Abington, PA 19001.
