It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis X. McDermott of Abington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine and Daniel; and his siblings, Joseph, Daniel, Michael, Richard, Edward and Maryann.
He is survived by: his wife Brigid Haughey McDermott; his daughters, Mary E. Barton (Joe) and Catherine McDermott; his grandchildren, Trinity Barton, Kassidy, Maura and Michael Dengle; and his sister Kay Bellis (John).
