He is survived by: his children, Charles Shorday, Jr. (Melinda), Lynn Shorday-Appelbaum (Mitchell) and Susanne Shorday (Richard DiMarco); his grandchildren, Ehren Shorday, Cathryn Fletcher (John), Jenna Askin (Zach), Conor DiMarco and Harrison DiMarco; his stepgrandchildren, Nash DiMarco (Kara), Lindsey DiMarco-Hyde (Jake), Matthew Appelbaum and Laura Appelbaum; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jake, Kayla Hyde, Gianna and Avery DiMarco; and also Adam Askin.
