It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann Garwood (Abington, Pennsylvania), born in Calumet, Michigan, who passed away on April 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Wirsu and Gertrude Wirsu (Dorffi); her daughter Diana C. Garwood of Huntingdon Valley; her grandparents, Henry, Josephine Wirsu (Arola), Frank and Hilja Dorffi (Antinkaapo); and her sister Ruthie Friel (Wirsu).
She is survived by: her husband William P. Garwood, Jr.; her son Jeffrey W. Garwood (Theresa) of Southampton; her granddaughter Nicole S. Garwood; her sister Mary Pizzola-Byrnes (Patrick); her nephews, Nicholas Pizzola, Matthew Pizzola (Heather) and Joseph Pizzola (Jenna); and her great-nieces, Paige and Leah Pizzola.
