He is survived by: his wife Debra A. Kirby (Beamer); his children, Lisa Prout (Jason) of Hanover, Lori Anderson (Kris) of Abbottstown, Sherman Kirby, Jr. (Leslie Hedrick) of Gettysburg, Jasson Kirby and Nathan Kirby (Hiata); and his siblings, Raymond Kirby (Edie) of Gettysburg, Alvin Kirby (Linda) of Littlestown, Calvin Kirby (Janice) of Orrstown, Wayne Kirby of Hanover, Kathy Smith (Robert) of New Oxford, Elaine Luther (Dave) of York Springs, Debbie Bollinger (Rodger) of Aspers, Linda Laughman (Terry Theritt) of Spring Grove and Alpha Etta Smith. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
