With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert B. Flickinger of Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, born in Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 12, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Georgianna Flickinger (Therit); his parents, Russell E., Sr. and Bernadette M. Flickinger (Wallach); his son James Flickinger; his stepdaughter Sharon Gearhart; and his brother Larry F. Flickinger.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lisa Gearhart, Donald Gearhart, Robert Gearhart, John Gladfelter, Nerissa Welty, Robin Gladfelter, David Gladfelter and Donald Gladfelter; his stepson David Gladfelter of Virginia; and his siblings, Gloria Stewart (Mike) of Mt. Wolf, Wayne Flickinger (KapYe) of Hanover and Russell Flickinger (Donna) of Hanover. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
