The memory of Karol M. Sherman of Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, born in Fallston, Maryland, who passed away on March 18, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elva Bosely Ward and William Archer Hess; her husband Charles Sherman; and her siblings, William A Hess Jr. and Candy Lee Hess.
She is survived by: her children, Jody Brown (Steve) of Perrin, Amy and Travis Sherman (Chris) of Wellsville; her grandsons, Chasen Brown (Kate) and Camden Brown (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Forrest, Layne and Blakely Brown; her siblings, Michael Hess (Rox), Richard Hess, Barbara and Jackie Hess; her friends, Pat, Helen and Judy; and her pet Missy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Church (2243 Hunterstown Hampton Rd, New Oxford, PA 17350). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Biglerville Fire Company, Heidlersburg Fire Company or the Adams County SPCA.
