With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean F. Sloan of Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, born in Hanover, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2024 at the age of 69. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Francis Klunk and Cecelia Klunk (Neiderer); her husband Johnny R. Sloan, II; her children, Ronald L. Sloan (Raven) and Tracey L. Johnson (Chuck); her granddaughter Kayla Zinn (Evan); and her siblings, Judith Dettinburn, Ronald Klunk, Richard Klunk and Joanne Frock. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murphy-Beck Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. (501 Ridge Ave, McSherrystown, PA 17344). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. (501 Ridge Ave, McSherrystown, PA 17344).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jean's memory may be made to the Sloan Family to help defray the cost of funeral expenses.
