Gordon Zinnert Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Zinnert of Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on February 7, 2015, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Zinnert and Sylvia Zinnert (Heiser); and his wife Joan Andrews (Kane). He is survived by: his children, Timothy G. Zinnert of Bethany Beach, DE, Kevin Zinnert of Forest Hill, MD, Colleen Zinnert of Abbottstown, PA and Michele Meckley of Hanover, PA; his grandchildren, Brian Bedford, Benjamin Bedford, Lauren Zinnert, Jake Meckley, Josh Zinnert, Hannah Zinnert, Ethan Zinnert and Heather Zinnert; and his siblings, William C. Zinnert, Jr. of Catonsville, MD, Martha Zinnert and Susan Huber of Essex, MD.. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In compliance with health and public safety directives, masks must be worn, and social distancing will be practiced.
