He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Newell and Arlene June Smith (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Tina Marie (Martin); his children, Cory Smith (Brooke Chamblee) of Huntsville, AL, Cassandra Hardy (Shawn) of Hanover, PA, Alexander Smith (Lex Hippensteel) of Abbottstown, PA, Samuel Smith (Grace Wetzel) of Abbottstown, PA and Ashley Zech of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Lily, Charlotte and Marlow; his siblings, Pat Jungkeit of Kingsport, TN, Beverly Stehman of Manheim, PA, Steve Smith of Upland, CA and Phil Smith of Lancaster, PA.; and his pets, Honey and Kokoa Joi.
