He is survived by: his children, Louise Powers, Sandy Althoff (Herb), Karen Shaffer (Keith), Bernard "Jake" Krichtern, Jr. (Rebecca) and Lisa Krichten; and his siblings, Lawrence, Michael, Richard, Patrick, Thomas Krichten, Mary Leppo, Marie Sanders, Doris Sanders and Judy Treadway. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren.
